MORWENSTOW resident and Budehaven student George Lumley has been given the opportuntity by the Cornwall FA to attend the FA National Football Futures Camp, returning this year to St George's Park. The event run, by national FA staff, will cover a diverse selection of football disciplines and provide a once in a lifetime opportunity to develop a host of key leadership and life skills. The camp will consist of two days of generic football leadership workshops which all leaders will attend, followed by a day and a half of specialist training. Further to the Cornwall County Football Futures Camp held on April 11, George and Beth Willshaw from St Austell were selected to take part in the camp.
