GOALS from Dan Tilley and Tom Ellacott weren’t enough as Launceston finished their season with a 4-2 defeat at Blaise Park.
Captain Tilley put them in front before they found themselves 2-1 down at half-time.
Ellacott did level the scores, but two late goals, including a penalty in injury-time meant the Clarets, who just stayed up on goal difference, ended their season with a loss.

CALLINGTON?Town’s reserves ended the season as runners-up thanks to St Dominick’s last-gasp defeat at Polperro.
At Ginsters Marshfield Parc, Tavistock took the lead on 25 minutes through Scott Wellington before striker Ian Rooke, playing the last game of his career, hammered in from 16-yards just two minutes later.
Almost straight from kick-off things got better for Rooke as he fired in from Jay Martin’s cross.
Late goals from Kieran Prescott and Dan Ashman and St?Dominick’s result at Polperro meant that Callington could celebrate in style as the league organisers made a late dash from Polperro to present the medals and runners-up trophy.

ST?TEATH?added some respectability to a disappointing campaign as they finished the season with their second consecutive victory.
Jamie Kay was again the difference, scoring one and setting up another.
St?Teath took the lead when Karl Croft headed in Jacob?Williams’ cross before Michael White made it all square going into the break as he fired in a 30-yard thunderbolt.
Kay got into the groove by setting up Darren Burden, who later missed a penalty, before finishing off the game himself by burying a fine shot into the top corner.
St Teath’s two late wins ensures that the season ended with some respectability as they gear up for life in Division One next term.

Morwenstow 3
Padstow United 4
MORWENSTOW’S?penultimate match of the season ended in a seven-goal defeat to third-bottom Padstow United.
Morwenstow found themselves 3-1 down at the break despite Will Bryant’s equaliser as Rob Rowe’s brace, which included a late first-half penalty, and Rob Elliott’s excellent strike gave Padstow the initiative.
United increased their lead through Adam Clement and the writing looked on the wall for the North Cornwall side when Mark Skelton was sent-off.
However, they fought back superbly as goals from Norman Foster and Jack Savage set up a grandstand finish.
But to Padstow’s credit they held on as they continue to pull further clear of the bottom two.
Morwenstow will finish the season in fifth regardless of their final day result.

AFTER an incredible season which has already seen them win the Launceston and District Knockout Cup for the first time in 22 years, as well as maintaining a promotion challenge in Duchy Two, Boscastle will have the chance to earn promotion when they take on mid-table Tregrehan Mills on Saturday.
However, due to their inferior goal difference to second-placed North Hill, Robin Haddy’s men know that they have to win if they’re to bounce back to Duchy League One for the first time since they were relegated at the end of the 2011/12 season.
