North Devon League round-up
BEN Sharpe scored five times as Holsworthy Reserves continued their 100% winning start to the season in the Senior Division with a 13-1 demolition of Barnstaple in North Devon.
The Magpies led 9-1 at the break and showed no mercy to their hosts after the restart, notching a further four times.
Besides Sharpe, Joel Greening (2), Keaton Meagan (2), Dean Chidley, Max McDonald, Ian Rowe and Dragos Placinta were all on target.
While Holsworthy are five from five, Kilkhampton are just three points having the played the same number of games.
They were 4-1 winners at Combe Martin with Ryan Thomas (2), Matt Jones and Ewan Reeves all on target.
The clash between Landkey Town and Shebbear United was postponed.
Bridgerule Reserves and Eastside shared the spoils after an eight-goal thriller at Vinnacombe Park in Intermediate Two.
Darren Williams, Shaun Page, Matthew Tape and Shaun Clifford were all on target for Bridgerule.
In the basement division (Intermediate Three), Shebbear United Reserves made the long trip to their South Molton counterparts and were comprehensive winners by seven goals to one. Nick Purcell notched a hat-trick with Simon Larkworthy and Mark Parnell at the double.
Elsewhere, Bradworthy Reserves lost 5-1 at home to Hartland Clovelly Thirds.
