Dave Smith — he’s a quality defender who never lets his or anyone else’s standards drop.

Who is the best team you have faced?

I would say St Blazey back in their day when they were decent!

Who is the best player you have or expect to face this season?

None really but the easiest I’ve faced has to be Paul Hider!

What are your hopes for the season?

My hopes for the season ended on Saturday when we lost to Saltash in the Cup, so now it’s to end the season well and stay fit and injury-free.

What has been your favourite moment of your football career so far?

My favourite moment so far is winning the Cornwall Senior Cup with the Clarets.
