Kit Kitchen South West Peninsula League Premier East

Brixham 1

HOLSWORTHY picked up an excellent point at home to high-flying Brixham on Saturday.

The Magpies had lost their previous two league games but battled away superbly at Upcott Field.

Wes Pugh put Holsworthy in front in the first-half before Robbie Bowker’s penalty levelled things up for the South Devon side.

The hosts were then given a chance to claim all three points but Harry Stevens couldn’t convert from the spot.

Holsworthy are at home again this Saturday when Dartmouth make the long trip to the other side of the county (3pm).
