GUNNISLAKE tightened their grip at the top of the Premier Division beating Boscastle 5-1.

Jan Humphrey hit a brace with Jarryd Kelly, Jamie Rowlands and Kevin McCallion completing the home tally. Dan Capstick pulled one back for Boscastle. The hosts were strolling four up at the break so credit to Boscastle for a much-improved second-half performance.

Stoke Climsland has had a topsy-turvy start to the season but they hit top form in beating AFC Bodmin 8-0. Phil Burgoyne, Andy Spokes and Lee Weaver all hit braces with Wayne Skeldon and Josh Pope weighing in with the other goals.

Kevin Allen scored a brace as St Merryn won 4-1 at Tintagel. Jack Bray and Josh Dark completed the visitors tally with Jake Ansell claiming the home consolation.

St Minver Reserves are off the mark in Division One with a first win. They won 5-1 at home to Lifton with Ian Buckingham hitting a hat-trick. Josh Caddy and Ozzie Beesley completed the home scoring with Tom Hancock getting the visitors consolation goal.

Southgate Seniors suffered their first defeat of the season and just hang on to top spot in Division Two on goal difference as a result. Southgate lost their derby match at Lifton Reserves 3-1. Liam Rich scored a brace for the hosts with Dan Hancock adding their other goal. Southgate replied through striker Liam Cairns.

Jordi Willmott hit a hat-trick as Nanpean maintained their impressive start with a 6-0 win at Boscastle Reserves. It was a day for the Willmott family with Reece and Kyle adding a goal apiece with the scoring completed by Luke Truscott.

Bude Town Reserves were 6-2 winners at home to Calstock with Bradley Palmer hitting a hat-trick. Both teams went into the game with 100% league records, but the hosts proved their superiority on the day. The home scoring was completed by Steve Hackett, Lucas Nunes and Dave Hales. Calstock replied with goals from Ashley Small and Ben Williams.

St Dominick Reserves made it six wins from six games to take control at the top of Division Three. After a cagey opening 15 minutes they went on to thrash Bude Town Thirds 8-0 for a very impressive win. Kane Thomas scored the opener direct from a corner followed by Nick Carpenter and Tarren Walsh scoring to send the hosts into the break three ahead. The goals flowed in the second half. Sixteen-year-old Adam Snowden scored the first followed by a hat-trick from Kieran Jasper. Kane Thomas topped and tailed the scoring by stroking home the eighth.

St Anns Chapel and Gunnislake Reserves drew 1-1 in their derby match. Gunnislake did the bulk of the attacking but the St Anns defence was resolute, and it was only a moment’s lapse that allowed Ben Farrar to give Gunnislake a 40th minute lead. Lewis Richardson scored a penalty to equalise with the last kick of the first-half.

St Mawgan Reserves secured a draw at Delabole last week but were undone 3-2 at home in the reverse fixture. Ben French scored a brace for Delabole, their scoring completed by Davey Tilley. St Mawgan replied through Luke Haynes and a Rob Fawcett penalty.

Altarnun are back in contention in Group B of the Duchy Knockout Cup after their 2-0 win at Lanivet Inn. This was a tight game with Altarnun getting a goal in each half through Toby Knights and substitute Adam Porter.
