Walter C Parson Funeral Directors League Cup (second-round)
Callington Town 3 (AET)
Cullompton Rangers 2
CALLINGTON came from behind twice before a dramatic extra time winner sent the Cornish side through at the expense of their Devon visitors.
Danny Bailey gave the visitors the lead in the first-half from the penalty spot but Town were soon level through Andre Rodyukov.
Joe Chamberlain restored Rangers’ lead in the second-half but with time running out, Rodyukov added his, and the Marshmen’s second, to take the game into extra time.
Cullompton had a great chance to regain the lead midway through the first period of extra-time when they were awarded a controversial penalty, but Bailey’s spot-kick was brilliantly saved by Sam Borthwick.
Then, with seven minutes left, Jake Cribb completed a good move with a low shot past the Rangers keeper to give Cally victory.
Callington’s fellow East Cornwall sides Millbrook or Liskeard Athletic are the reward for the Marshmen in the next round.

Cornwall Senior Cup (third-round)
Callington Town 1
Wendron United 0
CALLINGTON made it two cup wins in the space of four days but they left it late before substitute Billy Coton fired the Marshmen into the next round at a cold Ginsters Marsh.
To be fair to Wendron, Callington completely dominated the game but a combination of poor finishing and good goalkeeping kept the scores level while at the other end, when United did get past Town’s back line they found Sam Borthwick in good form.
The first-half saw Callington’s Tommy Norton on the left-wing cause no end of problems, creating early chances for both Lee Robinson and Ryan Lucassi but neither could convert, while Ricky Coton saw the ball rebound to him from a free-kick but his shot was tipped round the post.
The second-half continued in the same vain with Callington’s John Wyatt causing problems on the right and it was from one of his forays on 89 minutes that the ball found Coton after Robinson’s initial shot was parried and the youngster fired the ball home to give Town the victory and progress to the next round.
