North Devon League round-up

JUST two games involving Post area clubs went ahead due to the poor weather last week.

The derby clash between second-placed Kilkhampton and Bridgerule in the Senior Division went the way of the in-form hosts as they recorded a 2-0 success thanks to goals from Matt Jones and Ryan Thomas.

In Intermediate Three, Ashwater were scheduled to play at Taw Park, however with Taw’s ground waterlogged, the clash was switched to the Showfield.

In the end, Taw Park ran out 4-1 winners despite Stephen Sweeney’s strike for the Yellows.
