HOLSWORTHY Youth Football Club held their annual presentation day at the Memorial Hall on Sunday, June 10.

It was another successful season for the Magpies as they fielded seven teams ranging from under 7s up to under 15s in the North Devon Youth League.

The winners of the awards for each side are as follows:

Under 7s

Player of the Season: Brodi Wonnacott; Sportsman of the Year: Coby Allcorn; Most Improved Player: Jayden Cook

Under 8s

Player of the Season: Thomas Glessing; Sportsman of the Year: Tyler Dean;

Most Improved Player: Amelia Ivey

Under 10s

Players’ Player of the Year: Tai Wonnacott; Supporters’ Player of the Year: Niall Slade; Most Improved Player: Harry Trewin; Managers’ Player of the Year: Finley Warburton; Sportsman of the Year: Jack Ludwell

Under 11s

Winners of the Len Cook Trophy (members who achieve on and off the pitch): The sponsored cyclists who rode from the Bideford Tarka Trail, through Yarde Orchard, Shebbear and to Holsworthy’s Stanhope Park to raise money for the recently completed Holsworthy Area Sports Pavilion.
