CAMELFORD were undone by a first-half blitz from title chasing Tavistock at Trefrew Park.

The Camels are languishing in the bottom six but would have gone into the game quietly confident of getting something from the game despite the gulf in class.

However, Tavy started brightly and took the lead through Jack Crago’s shot, which went in off the underside of the crossbar.

Camelford rallied briefly until Josh Grant headed home Glynn Hobbs’ cross.

Luke Brown then cut in off the wing to fire in a cracker to make it three and Crago’s second of the afternoon put the game out of the home team’s reach.

To their credit, the Camels dominated the second period, but failed to grab the consolation their efforts deserved.
