DEFENDING champions Holsworthy are through to the last four of the Torridge Cup after beating Shamwickshire Rovers 3-1 last night.

Gavin Carter put the SWPL Premier East Magpies in front before the break and doubled the lead after the restart.

Shammy, two leagues lower from the North Devon Premier, pulled one back before an own goal sealed Holsworthy’s passage through.
