Cornwall Charity Cup (first-round)
Godolphin Atlantic Newquay 1 (AET)
(Godolphin won 6-5 on penalties)
CAMELFORD were made to pay for a series of missed chances as the hosts, who played for over an hour with ten men due to Jadon Gotthardt’s red card, scraped into the next round.
The Camels had a half-time lead thanks to yet another Bobby Hopkinson free-kick, but failed to build on that, despite hitting the bar through Kian Burns and seeing Andy Boxall’s fine finish controversially ruled out for offside.
However, just as it looked as if they would set up an away tie at Saltash United in the last eight, Billy Tedder-Hart unleashed a 25-yarder into the corner in injury-time to take the game to extra-time.
Burns hit the bar again in injury-time before it went to penalties.
After both sides missed one each, it got to sudden death at 6-5.
However Camels defender Martin Haynes blazed his effort over the bar to send the G Army through.

St Blazey 1
Camelford 3
CAMELFORD made it four straight league wins with a 3-1 victory at Blaise Park.
The hosts missed several early chances and were made to pay on the half hour as Bobby Hopkinson’s corner somehow went straight in.
Blazey equalised eight minutes later as former Launceston striker Jordan Hogan beat Luke Gwillam.
However by the middle of the second-half the Camels had full control as Kian Burns added another spectacular strike to his recent list, before Andy Boxall was the quickest to react to a superb Hopkinson chip which hit the woodwork.
