THE draw for the early stages of the 2019/20 Launceston Cup have been made with 20 teams taking part.
The competition gets underway on Sunday (September 29) with two preliminary round ties in North Cornwall.
Duchy League side Gunnislake make the long trip up to North Devon League Intermediate Two side Morwenstow Reserves while North Petherwin also head in the same direction, this time to Lamb Park to tackle North Devon Senior Division side Kilkhampton.
The first-round gets underway a week later with two matches a day taking place over four consecutive Sundays.
First up on October 6 are the Halwill v Bridgerule B and Pensilva v Southgate Seniors ties before Dobwalls against Tavyside and Lifton and St Breward take centre stage seven days later.
Defending champions Bridgerule A have a tasty looking trip to Bude Town Reserves on October 20, while on the same afternoon there’s a repeat of last year’s semi-final as 2018/19 finalists St Cleer welcome Altarnun.
The final games in the opening round see Boscastle visit the winners of Morwenstow or Gunnislake and St Dominick host Kilk or North Petherwin.
