South West Peninsula Premier
Cullompton 1
THE points were shared at Trefrew Park as Camelford and Cullompton Rangers continued their unbeaten runs.
The Camels started confidently having already won twice in mid-week but the first half ended goalless, despite some good chances for Mark Gusterson and Kevin Murt.
The deadlock was eventually broken midway through the second half when Camelford full back Dan Metherell raced down the wing and centred for fellow defender Adam Sleep to powerfully head home.
Camelford were the controversially reduced to ten men when Gusterson was given his marching orders.
In the last seconds, Cullompton snatched a point with a tremendous drive from Dan Bailey that left Paul Hider rooted in the home goal.
