PREMIER Division leaders St Minver dropped two points when held two-all at a cold and windy North Petherwin.

The home club were finally able to get the pitch cut and marked after a few frustrating weeks.

Petherwin made life extremely difficult for the leaders, earning their point from a Josh Sanders double. Rob Green also scored a brace in reply.

Special mention must be given to Dominic Plumb in the home goal who produced some fine saves, including one from the spot late on.

In Division One, St Columb Major drop deeper into trouble after losing 3-1 at home to Altarnun. Ryan Crabb scored a couple, with Jake Hobson adding the other goal.

Tom Ball scored the consolation goal for the hosts.

Queens Rangers moved into contention for a promotion challenge in Division Two with a good 2-1 away win at Boscastle.

Rob Heal scored the home goal but an own goal and a Wade Laity strike gave Rangers the points.

In Division Three, a Dan Charles hat-trick and a Dan Anson-Hart goal gave High Street a 4-1 win over North Petherwin Reserves which leaves the visitors facing a relegation battle.

Barry Rutherford struck the Petherwin consolation.

Pensilva won 5-1 at Kilkhampton to move top of Division Four with Mike Rendle hitting a hat-trick. Adam Hicks and Jon Filbey added further goals for Pensilva with Chris Miles getting the Kilk’ goal.

Another ground to see a first game in a long time ended in disappointment for Southgate Seniors as they went down 3-1 to Rame Peninsula.

Padstow United won 3-2 away to St Mawgan Reserves. Kyle Tippett scored two with Colin Morris adding the other Padstow goal.

St Mawgan replied with strikes from Chris Leach and Jon Golding.

Lanreath left Wadebridge Town stranded at the bottom of Division Five after a crushing 6-0 defeat.
