THE All Blacks fought back in the second half to win after trailing 10-3 at the interval but the match didn't produce the excitement expected.

The Titans took the lead with a try after four minutes by wing Tom Popham converted by Tony Yapp.

Titans were having the better of the exchanges but a high tackle as they wrestled for the ball in their 22 led to an All Blacks penalty kicked by Kieron Lewitt.

When the All Blacks were penalised for not binding at the scrummage a long range penalty by Yapp increased the Titans lead to 10-3.

The All Blacks failed to make an impact due mainly to many handling errors.

With the strong breeze behind them at the restart All Blacks began to assert themselves, but still frustrating mistakes made it difficult to develop any momentum.
