TEENAGE superstar Carl Baldry recently won North Cornwall's Open Singles title in scintillating style.

Having disposed of Shirley Luckhurst in the semis, he faced Blisland teammate Bob Thompson in the final.

Bob had previously beaten Dave Salisbury in his semi, and at 1-1, the final looked evenly poised.

However, Carl clicked into gear and produced some devastating table tennis to take it 11-9, 4-11, 11-1, 11-5.
