WERRINGTON?Cricket Club have further boosted their first team squad by signing Grampound Road and Cornwall batsman, Tom Hughes.
The 25-year-old right-hander joins the Ladycross club having played at the Road for the whole of his career.
Primarily a top-order batsman, Hughes will provide plenty of options to skipper Adam Hodgson, who with the signings of Hughes, county captain Matt Robins and all-rounder James Turpin, will have no shortage of firepower to choose from as they plan another aassault on the ECB Cornwall Premier League title.
Werrington also hope to announce an overseas player in the coming weeks, with a seam bowling all-rounder at the top of their wishlist.
