BUDE and North Cornwall Golf Club has said 'thank you' to all involved for a superb team effort in raising the necessary funds for a community defibrillator. With golf competitions, raffles, Tasty Pasties, cider sales, the Jive Club, the Red Lion, Crantock Pasties, personal donations and a packed quiz night, the money was raised in just over a month. Manager David Walls said: "The club spends 12 months a year raising money for good local causes, the members always respond generously. That said, from the idea being raised to the money being raised was completed in under one month, that was incredible."
