The race forms part of the Cornish Multi-terrain series and also hosts a one-mile Junior race before the senior event gets underway.
This year, the event was organised by Bude RATS running club, a club which has grown every year. The Marshalls were provided by RNLI supporting volunteers and club members.
The six-mile course, starting and finishing at Bude's rugby club, drew runners from all over the south west. The course offers off road hills and flat sections as it leads out toward Widemouth Bay and some stunning views.
Various runners of different abilities took part in the run. A number of the beginners group at Bude RATS also entered and finished the course.
Bideford AAC won the overall team prize and Mark Jenkin, a member of Bideford AAC, led the field home with an outstanding run as he completed the 6 mile course in 31 minutes and 51 seconds.
