BUDE Town Reserves and Pensilva will face opposition from West Cornwall in the last eight of the Cornwall Junior Cup after the draw was made this morning.

The Seasiders head down to take on a Dropship side that, like themselves, are in the race for promotion from their division.

While Bude are top of St Piran League Division Three East, Dropship are second in the equivalent West division with 28 points from 12 games.

They are eight points adrift of leaders Probus with two games in-hand, and also have played less fixtures than those below them.

Bude are level on points with Lanreath, who are also still in the Junior Cup, in the race for the title, and look a good bet to secure a much-wanted promotion.

Pensilva are in the title race in Division Two East and have been drawn at home.

They welcome Falmouth United, third in Division Two West.

The Pens beat United’s league rivals New Inn Titans in the fourth round, so will back themselves to reach the semi-finals against a side that won 6-2 at Bodmin Town Reserves on Saturday to progress.

Lanreath’s task in the quarter-finals is a home game against Bodmin-based Lanivet Inn.

Lanivet Inn are flying high in Division Two East and make the short trip to their one-league lower opponents in a tie which should be extremely close.

The other last eight clash sees Biscovey, flying high in Division Four East welcome Stithians, currently fifth in Division Two West.

All games are set for Saturday, February 10 with the final due to be played on Sunday, April 28.
