BUDE beat local rivals St Breward 0-6 at Brake Parc in their first ever league meeting on Sunday.

A strong Bude midfield dominated the match and this meant the majority of play was in the home half.

Goals from Anita Symons and a brace from Sarah Badham made it 0-3 at the break.

The second half continued in the same vein, Steph Smeeth, Lisa Cornish and Annmarie Latham taking no prisoners in the middle and creating a plethora of chances.

Great overlapping and linking on the wings saw Reanne Westlake and Claire Gifford make continued runs and crosses and this pressure resulted in goals from Katherine Bryant, Lizzy Jenkins and another from Badz.

Next up for the North Cornwall side is a home tie with Mullion, who are yet to win a game, or a draw for that matter, so it should be another goal-fest.
