THE final of the 2014-15 CGU Cornwall Team Championship took place at Newquay Golf Club on Sunday, March 22, between Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club and Trevose Golf Club.

To make sure the team were best dressed for the occasion Bude based Bott Ltd kindly sponsored the golf-shirts and jumpers.

The tops were resourced by the clubs new professional Nick Cook. Clive Woodward said: "Bott Ltd are delighted to help where we can. We are proud of the achievements of Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club, it's a great final for the team and the town, and we are glad to be associated."

It was Trevose who came away with the spoils after what appears on paper to be a comprehensive victory but in reality was a much closer affair.

Bude Team Captain Llew Courtenay congratulated Trevose on their win and thanked his team who he said had done themselves and the club proud.
