JANE Anderson was first across the line in Sunday's Sailboat Two race, overcoming strong easterly winds, with the rest of the pack very close. It took bravery to sail a full rig Laser; Bob Sampson had had a dip even before the start and Steve Axford capsized at Inlet Mark. At the start of lap two Bob led followed by Jane and James Pollard, while on lap three Bob planed the length of the lake, but it didn't get him victory on handicap.
