HOLSWORTHY rugby prospect Fraser Honey has just signed a 12-month contract with Bury St Edmunds 1st XV, in Suffolk.

This deal sees him have close ties with Aviva Premiership side Northampton Saints.

Fraser, formerly of Holsworthy Community College, has had a very successful year, starting off by representing Cornwall u18s on numerous occasions.

He has also attended Hartpury College, in Gloucestershire where he has just finished two years of studying and playing.

During this year at Hartpury, Fraser has been a consistent performer in the Hartpury College 1st XV and also helped them win their sixth straight AASE League Championship at Saracens Ground, Allianz Park.

Just recently Fraser was invited by the Welsh Rugby Union to represent the Welsh Exiles at Gemau Cymru sevens, where he went on to captain the side.

Fraser is now being heavily tracked by the Welsh Rugby Union and looks to have a bright future ahead of him.
