THE All Blacks only got on the scoreboard in the closing minutes, with a Lewis Webb try, as Henley gained revenge for their defeat at Polson earlier in the season, scoring four converted tries with three of those coming in the first 12 minutes.

Henley were much the better side and did most of the attacking.

The first try came in the first minute from the forwards. There was a scramble for the ball on the half way and left wing Xavier Andre snatched the ball which had come out of a ruck and ran 35 metres to touch down with no defenders near.

In the sixth minute Henley were awarded a penalty for going over the top. Fly half Comben kicked to the corner and from a catch and drive and several rucks, flanker Ryan Newman was driven over; in an almost carbon copy of this Comben himself crossed close in and added the extras.
