TINTAGEL Cricket Club has been awarded Clubmark accreditation from Cornwall's ECB representative Joe Skinner.

Club president Paul Knight explained to those assembled: "This award will enable the club to move forward with youth coaching and funding projects to improve the facilities at the club."

Clubmark is the universally acknowledged sporting accreditation scheme for community sports clubs.
