IN AN all Premier clash, St Minver beat St Mawgan 5-1. Andy Seymour hit a hat-trick with Corey Cleave and Dan Cox adding the other home goals. Stuart Harris scored for St Mawgan.

A wind affected clash at North Petherwin was decided by the conditions. Godolphin Atlantic took a two goal lead into half time. The first goal came from Callum Gadney with Jack Scott making the most of a defensive lapse to score the second. Petherwin with the wind in their favour after the break fought back. Adam Smith scored from a corner. Jake Rich then equalised with a shot from the edge of the box and Dan Warring followed up to hit a fine goal from distance to put them ahead. Godolphin had a decent chance to equalise which was squandered, and then in the last minute their keeper brought down an attacker and Joe Reeve struck home the penalty kick to give the hosts a 4-2 win.

Conditions was a major factor as Callington Town fought back to win at Holywell/Cubert Athletic. The hosts were 4-2 up at half time with Lee Mann hitting a hat trick and Simon Holmes adding a goal. With the conditions to their advantage in the second half and a depleted home bench, as legs tired, Callington fought back to progress to the next round 9-4. Kieran Prescott scored four goals and Ricky Coton a hat trick. Kevin Pethick and Dan Ashman were their other scorers.

North Hill beat St Newlyn East 7-0 with Jason Ridgment hitting a hat-trick. Dan Gregory added a brace with Chris Rockell and Paul Breyley completing the scoring. Newlyn still await their first goal of the season.

Premier Division Biscovey were 3-2 winners at LC Phoenix, despite a valiant effort from the home side to come back from going 2-0 down early on. Dan Castle pulled a goal back with a powerful header from a corner, and,

after dominating possession, Joe Davis levelled things up going into the break.

As the teams went into the last quarter of the match, Biscovey made the most of their chance to restore the lead — though it could have been more were it not for Knights’ goalkeeper Nick Oldaker saving well from the spot.

Altarnun went down 4-2 at home to Foxhole Stars. Ryan Crabb scored both home goals, but Foxhole moved into the next round with goals from Martyn Probert, Jamie Robinson, Richard Griffin and Jordan Rowse.

St Columb Major made the most of their log journey into Devon winning 4-2 at Lifton. Ash Bicknell scoreda brace with Dan Ball and Mickey Thompson completing their tally. Lifton replied with a debut brace from Marius Pislabu.

Stoke Climsland edged their derby game to overturn neighbours Gunnislake 4-3 after extra time.

The sides shared six goals in normal time with Stoke getting the extra time winner. Kieran Clarkson scored a brace for Stoke with Kieran Ryall and Tom Murphy completing their scoring. Gunni’ replied with a Keiran Jasper brace and an own goal.

St Cleer beat Calstock 5-3 to go through. Liam Donaghy scored two with Ed Bradshaw, Dan Sharpe and Duane Williams getting one each. Calstock replied through a Jan Humphrey brace and a Berryn Phillips goal.
