PARKLANDS Okehampton Leisure Centre presented Dave Dennis, an employee of over 15 years, with the prestigious long standing employee award last week.

Dave started in 1998, and after over 15 years of service on the West Devon contract and a number of different roles, David is now one of the most influential employees the centres have

He has been teaching for 12 years, doing such an inspirational job that a number of Level 1 and 2 teachers were taught by David, having received the swimming bug from such an excitable teacher

Contract manager at Parklands Okehampton Jon Smith commented: "At Parklands, we feel so honoured to have Dave as en employee that we knew he needed recognition for all of his loyalty and hard work."
