CHILDREN of various ages were recognised for their voluntary involvement in the community at Holsworthy and Rural Community Action Through Sport (CATS) awards last Friday.
The event, held in the Memorial Hall, was held to promote and recognise young people from Holsworthy and the surrounding rural areas for their positive community action.
Guest presenters were Barry Parsons, councillor for Holsworthy Rural, Denise May (co-founder of CATS), inspector Andy Brooks, Kevin Nancekivell (Plymouth Argyle coach) and David Fitzsimmons (principal of Holsworthy Community College).
