All three of Launceston’s acts went through to the county final at Hall for Cornwall on January 15, and Dawn Chorus was awarded 6th place overall.

After Glow and Soggy Bottom qualified for the county team, which will be produced by Mike Meer, with the first performance at South West Area on March 5, again at Hall for Cornwall.

Oliver Stephens and Heather Stanbury were contenders for best actor and actress and Oliver was also a contender for best producer.

Launceston YFC chairman Amy Trehane said: “I would personally like to thank all four of the producers who put in hours to the performances and to everyone who came down to support us on Sunday!”
