ROMAN Povey had a bumper 11th birthday in Newton Abbot this week...thanks to the rest of the world.

Mum Molly picked up on her son's regret that perhaps his special day on April 29 would not be that memorable.

So his mum did something about it – and posted a line on a popular social media site to say that her lad had a birthday coming up.

And that's when the storm of congratulations blew in from all corners of the globe.
