A MOST enjoyable time was had by all at a coffee morning and raffle fundraiser held in G's Café, Bude on Tuesday, March 22. A wonderful £400 was raised, which will go towards a pamper room at St Hilary Care Home. This new facility will be a place where residents can relax, receive hand and foot massages, along with the provision of a suitable clinical space for visiting health care officials. Lisa O'Shea, Manager of St Hilary, wished to thank Jen and the staff at G's, everyone who supported the event and gave special mention to Lucie Clark, Hazel Giles and Debi Jory for the delicious homemade cakes! This was the first of a staged plan of events — next up is the 'Spring Jumble Sale' at St Hilary Care Home on April 13, held between 11am and 3pm.

WAVES AND SMILES: Back row from left are Tony Powley with Rex, Nicky Green, Kim Bate, Jen Jones-Giles (cafe assistant) and Lisa O’Shea (St Hilary Manager). Sat in front are Ursula Wilde, Beth Foot, Muriel Tape, Nancy Mead and Eileen Taylor.
