The woman was assessed by a doctor at the scene and taken to hospital by the air ambulance.
A South Wales Fire Service spokesman said they extricated a woman from a vehicle after it left the roadway.
Fire crews from Malpas and Usk attended the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
