POLICE in Launceston are seeking witnesses to a hit and run traffic collision.

The incident occurred at 3.45pm on Monday, August 1, at the junction of the A388 St Thomas Road and Wooda Road.

Police said the collision involved a Green Mitsubishi Shogun, which failed to stop, and drove off up Wooda Road.
