THE carnival in a Bodmin Moor village has been hailed as a success by its organisers.
St Breward Carnival, which was revived in 1988 by villagers has gone from strength to strength in the years since — with the 2025 event seeing a wide diversity of entrants breaking the night and day with colour despite the challenges posed by inclement and erratic weather.
Villagers were joined by carnival royalty from other towns, making the event a festival of family fun for all of the community.
A spokesperson for St Breward Carnival said: “Well my ‘bootys’ what a week we have had! We had all sorts of weather and all sorts of fun. We hope you had a wonderful carnival week with us.”
