Charles Jeffery, of Oaklands Park, Buckfastleigh, writes: Surprise, surprise. We now have a Buckfastleigh Independent Group, or BIG. We understand BIG is standing for the council. Do we really want this self-opinionated group to run the council. The answer is no.

We have, and always have had , a very good council. As the saying goes, it if ain't broke do not fix it.

Please people of Buckfastleigh, be vary careful of what you wish for when you vote.
