"DO not be afraid of change," — These were the comments at the final service by Rev David Michaels held at Tregadillett United Church. He has now retired as Priest in Charge of Launceston.
He said that the reason that they "locked the doors to keep out the Jews" was from fear. He went on to say that even fear of fear can hold the church back from its mission.
"Do not be afraid of change for there is an enormous need out there, waiting for help."
Taking part in this short service were Rev Catherine Carlyon, who had come back especially for the occasion.
