With the closing date of Friday, October 24 fast approaching, charity Community Action Through Sport (CATS) is searching for young people to be put forward for their Holsworthy & Rural based Award.

PCSO Raquel Rowe from Holsworthy Police said: "We would like to know of anyone who could nominate young person from the age of 5 to 25 years old who has contributed to the community.

It could be raising funds for charity or volunteering within the local area."

The event is to be held on Friday, November 21 at 7pm at the Memorial Hall in Holsworthy.

CATS offers health and fitness based awards to young people who are actively involved in improving their community.
