THE annual Greenaway family Christmas Light turn-on, this year ‘with a difference’, was a real treat for all in the village.

The people of Pyworthy came out in support of this local family, who held a number of additional events during the big switch on.

The non-profit event held on December 17 at the home of Sheila Greenaway included games such as ‘Guess who the Christmas Grinch is’, a raffle with two Christmas hampers up for grabs as well as a number of cash prizes for the lucky entrants.

A great time was had by all, and the night culminated in the switching on of the magnificent display.
