MARHAMCHURCH Village Shop has recently joined Bude’s war on plastic pollution by stocking milk in traditional glass bottles.

Lansdown Dairy and Deli supplies many of the shop’s essentials, so when it recently introduced the pint glass alternative to the plastic milk container, Marhamchurch Village Shop was keen to jump on board and ‘do their bit’.

This has proved to be a big hit with customers with a steadily increasing demand for the returnable ‘pinta’, and is part of the action against plastic campaign recently reported in the Post.
