STUDENTS from Bude and Launceston TAGB (Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain) clubs gathered at Launceston College to show off their skills in patterns, line-work drills and sparring to grading examiner Master Michael Dew, 8th Dan Black Belt and Vice Chairman of both the TAGB and the British Tae Kwon Do Council recently. Bude Instructor, Mr Guy Southard, 4th Dan Black Belt commented: "It's always good to see students progress up through the belts, and although the grading can be nerve wracking it is a good experience for all age groups. Learning to stay calm and focussed under a bit of pressure is an important skill in modern life. They also learn that there are no shortcuts in training — effort is required at every session!"
