AFTER worries about the weather and if everything would be in place, Saturday came with sun and warmth for the first ever joint fete between the parishes of Boscastle, Trevalga and Tintagel.

The stalls were put up, the barbecue lit and the visitors arrived. All had a great time browsing the bric a brac, books and home produce.

The more adventurous soaked one another in the water splash and smashed old china while the young looked for treasure and guessed how many sweets were in a jar.

Entertainment was provided by the Camelford Silver Band and by ‘Professor Goodvibes’ and his popular Punch and Judy show.

The Rev Michael Parsons expressed thanks to all who visited the fete and to those who worked so hard to make the occasion such a success.
