BUDE travelled to St Austell with depleted numbers compared with most weeks, but this seemed to work in their favour as the team put in a very special performance. The game was played in three ten minute sections, and in each section Bude managed to score 4 or more tries.

Bude's first try was scored by Alfie Petch with a fine solo run. This set the seal with Bude's larger forwards driving through the St Austell defence. But although Bude scored lots of points they were excellent in defence with Jake St Aubyn the captain for the day, setting a standard hard to match.

The favourite try of the 13 was when Bradley Horton broke away from a maul running 30 metres and passing the ball to Mitch Acre who sprinted on, then cut back inside to score. Well done all the boys for their hard work and commitment.

Man of the Match Jake St Aubyn.

Special mention to Chae Jenkins who scored 5 tries, other try scorers Alfie Petch 4, Mitch Acre 2, Bradley Horton 1, Jake St Aubyn 1. Rest of Team Tom Drew, Zerron Hammond, Matt Maynard, David Currie, Michael Currie.
