THE Neighbourhood Community Cooking Club and The Pantry from Tintagel joined forces to host a jumble sale recently in the social hall.
Both community groups work hard to support people who are struggling. The Neighbourhood Community Cooking Club’s focus is making and distributing healthy food where it is needed within the local community. The Pantry offers food, essentials and food parcels that they make. Both aim to support anyone who is in need, free of charge or through donations.
The jumble sale was organised to raise funds for both of the charities, to support them in providing their services. Overall, the event raised £250.
Julie Potter, manager for the cooking club, said: “It was very successful, we will be hosting another around the end of March, beginning of April”
