A BANQUET at King Arthur's Masonic Lodge, Tintagel has raised £3,000 for charity. The money is going to Lifelites, which has projects in all baby and children's hospices across the UK and Ireland, provides life-limited and disabled children opportunities they would never have without specialist equipment. The event was a two-course Medieval banquet in King Arthur's Great Hall attended by more than 180 guests in authentic fancy dress. Actors performed and Sir Bedivere provided the entertainment, including the stocks for those who misbehaved. Guests were treated to freshly cooked hog roast and desserts, sponsored by Kensey Foods, washed down with ale donated by Sharps Brewery.
