WELL done to Councillor Julia Bryson (the 'Post', January 8). How refreshing to see a true report of council business, and not the usual guff.

It is also pleasing to see the Electoral Boundary Commission are proposing that Bude, Stratton and Poughill are to have an extra ward with the same number of councillors. I do hope the proposition is accepted.

On reading the BSTC website it states: "...we also maintain many miles of footpath for Cornwall County Council." May I suggest they start looking close to their headquarters at Footpath No 60 which is a total disgrace for the centre of town.
