A POPULAR and well-known St Teath lady has died at the age of 93.

The funeral service of Peggy Crosley took place at St Teath Church on Friday, March 14. Donations were made to Cornwall Air Ambulance and the Church of St Tetha in place of flowers.

Peggy was the wife of the late Roy Crosley, a former headmaster of St Teath Primary School, who died in 1991. She had been a school teacher, loved music, especially classical, reading and the Mothers' Union.

Until she could not manage it, gardening and embroidery were her passions, with her handiwork adorning the altar frontals at the village church.
