North Petherwin held its annual autumn fete on Saturday, September 18 which was officially opened by one of the parish hall trustees, Roger Clements. This, the second fair, was again lucky with the weather to which local organisations gave their support including the Women's Institute and the parish church. The Tamar Otter Park brought along a beautiful owl, whilst Mr Madge officiated and organised a 'Fun Dog Show', which was greatly enjoyed by all the visitors. A fantastic £670 was raised for the maintenance and general upkeep of the parish hall. The committee wish to thank everyone involved for their tremendous effort in making the day so successful.
