LAUNCESTON College recently played host to the North Cornwall Badminton Competition.

Primary schools from Bude, Camelford, Launceston and Wadebridge entered a preliminary round to qualify for the North Cornwall finals.

St Issey, Camelford CP, Bude Juniors, Stratton, South Petherwin, St Catherines and Tregadillett competed for the opportunity to play in the county final at Tregorrick Park, St Austell on Friday March 5.

The winning team was St Catherines, South Petherwin runners-up and Tregadillett in 3rd place, they all qualify for the County Final.

Well done to all teams and to the Sports Leaders that ran both the NC and Launceston round, once again they did a fantastic job. Brenda Strout.
